Middle Island Seaview Promenade

Hares - Indyanus, Bite & Suck

Write-up - Bondi Barbi

Indy's Run, Indy's Run
Held on the second week of this month.
It started after the set of the Sun
20-ish Hashers gathered on the Repulse Bay front

Starting from the Repulse Bay Beach Road via the Seaview Promenade Ramp
Hilarious Hashers' yelling awakens the sleepy junks
Up to the Deep Water Bay Road and following the million steps
Through the grove and fighting the shiggy
Marching up to the Nam Fung Road
Finally, we conquered the Mount Nicholson's hump

Galloping though the Blacks Links
Ending up at the Wanchai Gap Park
No one lost in the dark
Simply because the trail was well marked

Girls partying in the loo
Men drinking in the park
"On on called!" was what Hopeless shouted
Thinking of course of the Vindaloo
He stimulated our starving souls
Dreaming of the curry bowls

Peaceful night, silent night
Taxi rarely found on that night
Hungry hashers howling filled the night
How could we escape from that site?

Lost souls, hungry souls,
Bus No.15 was the savior of those souls
Chatting, laughing filled the bus
Nearly forgotten where we have run

Getting off at Paddle Street
No one knew which restaurant should we meet
Super Indy took the down down beer as the bait
Losing chickens tried to follow with all their might

Greenland Indian Restaurant was our goal
Green, Yellow Curry was ready taken from the stove
Jar followed jar, beer was served cold
While we waited for the Boilers "down down" show

Hash song now sung, Down Downs were done
Then, where will be the next week run?

The LSW Hash
Is a good place to crash
If you want a lot of fun

++++ Hash News Part II ++++

On an auspicious moonlit night , a reasonable 20+ of the LSW met up at Repulsive Bay under starting orders from Indi and Bite & Suck.

The pack fanned out along the beach seeking the elusive exit to Deepwater Cove, found it and ran itself in along the promenade. Thus warmed up the Hares took us up Shouson Hill Drive, with Hopeless disappearing into a Shiggy dead-end from whence he never recovered and Macau Drunk choosing the main road past the Country Club.

Shergar got it right and valiantly led the pack up the hill which thence turned right and on upto Nam Fung Do, where a cunningly laid check-back turned the pack inside out and propelled a surprised Macau Drunk back to the front running.

Plenty of steps up to Black Links, where the front runners paused for oxygen, and none other Dr Evil powered his way to the front. After two crafty check backs on Black's Link, that took Tightlips and Posh Twit Christopher off the pace, the pack wheeled into the shiggy path up to Middle Rd with Dr Evil retaining the Yellow Jersey right to the end. Back-door Pedophile and Smurf came in last.

The bins were found at Wanchai Gap Pagoda, where the hares were congratulated on an excellent run of appropriate length (75 minutes) that succeeded, for the most part, in keeping the pack together.

From there it went down hill - literally - to the On-On at the Greenland in Wailing ding Gai, which in all truth was a little hard to get to. Hopeless bailed out complaining about the late hour (what, after last week for Kamikaze's wake in Lockhart Rd?).

++++ ++++

Down-downs were delivered up as follows by Shergar (in the absence of anyone more talented):

FFM - driving Hopeless away from On-on

Teachers - lucky bastards skiving off on holidays during the summer

Hares - strategically challenged choice for On-on

Chat-room Pedophile and Franz - holding hands (carrying the beer bin so therefore excused on the pretext of Necessity this once, but not to be tolerated in future)

Franz - went to the bank so that he could buy himself a T-shirt for the On-on

Lamma boys - blameless lives

Ladies changing room shenanigans - Macau Drunk says he's seen it all before and affecting disinterest

Back-rubbing on the hash - several guilty parties - you know who you are...

Liam - squash shoes

FFM - sundry misdemeanors as always

Hicky Slut - using Brazilian wax to clean the furniture(??)
