Tseung Kwan O - Sport Aid 1988 Anniversary Hare - Hopeless Hashers - Lost in Translation, Sticky Sex Toy, Octopussy, Indyanus, Jannie, Jenny, Foot Fetish, Castrato, Joseph, JV, Lubricated Mud, Ljubo, Hopeless, Meredith, Clean My Bush, Freebie, Toilet Boy Write-up - Castrato The Rocky Balboa steps at the Tseung Kwan O stadium – a suitably portentous start to a suitably portentous run. Hopeless summoned his inner bonze, taught us of the sigils and the trials that would lie beyond the roundabout, and then off we were into the night. Down past Chi Shin Streeet, through the grass and then over the catchily named Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park Footbridge. Running by the water the hash was delighted - nay enchanted - by the pretty lights. The hash is a simple creature and easily distracted. At the Tseung Kwan O Promenade Southern Single Span Foot and Bicycle Bridge, the hash took a left, running along bouncy concrete blocks up the road to the pet garden at the end (a pet garden with handy toilet facilities). Then left down Wan Po Road and an exciting crossing was made over a small motorway to take us past Oscar by the Sea, round the marina and then back to the stadium. A fine run on a fine evening by a fine hare, followed by skittles. Down Downs by Indy The hare - Hopeless…. his special run to commemorate ‘Sports 🏃♂️Aid Day’….. cries of ‘too much shiggy / elevation‘.. ’not enough fab waterfront views / boats ‘🚤⛵️….. a great trail that was cleverly designed for all hashers ! Octo - had read Hopeless’ summary of that charity Sports Aid Run in 1988 to answer questions!… the second run of its kind which he ran in Cardiff Wales… JV - also a teacher’s pet who had read Hopeless’ summary of his Sports Aid run👏 Octo - loved the 1980’s music 🎵 era knowing all the singers / bands then! lookalikes? Lost in Translation - fab to see you back at LSW!! LIT - had asked ‘yours truly Indy’ if this run set by Hopeless was a ‘Special Run’???… was asked… ‘didn’t you see this special ‘Sports Aid run’ bib at home?’ LIT - ‘ FFS.. he has all of his racing bibs from every race he has entered ! he keeps all of them! ‘… like a cat 🐈⬛ woman! 😂 Sticky Sex Toy - has also kept all her racing bibs! All those young pups who were not born by 1988 when Hopeless did the Sports Aid run. Hopeless - soon to get a HK green card!! Freebie / Indy - green card holders!! Run comments!- LIT - felt like a virgin… Got all the checks wrong! .. but great run!! Toilet Boy - had a very romantic 💕 run with Lyubo… they got badly lost a couple of times as were looking at the fab scenic lights on bridges and waterway ! Foot Fetish - told by Hopeless that no torches needed and no shiggy.. so no need to take her emergency medical ⛑️ kit!! Felt so much freer - enjoyed the beautiful waterfront views !! JV - a good fast paced scenic run.. but went crazy with Clean My Bush when they saw the shiggy going uphill at a check….. Clean My Bush - knew it was not logical to go uphill into the shiggy… but someone had to do it so he and JV raced up and up…. to a T! Meredith - really enjoyed the run except when she and Jennie got lost near the tunnel at beginning… thought would never find trail! Hopeless - using the elevator to help in trail marking ..🔛 LIT > JV …unable to understand the markings - thought one ON2 was OR?? Octo > Hopeless.. there was shiggy on the trail.. in middle of the main roads that trail crossed! Hopeless stats….. drumroll and ‘pings’ on his fridge! LIT - calls out to Hopeless ‘Get a Life!’😂 LIT - to note that Hopeless now holds the record of 3rd top world hasher 🏆 !!! Such dedication to hashing !! 👏🏃♂️🍺 Hopeless - who are the top 2 ? ‘Top guy is a retired US vet.. 400 runs ahead! Next guy not hashing now.. 🤭’.. keep watching this space!! Jannie - has 💯 attendance at LSW still !! Castrato > Jannie… J’s mum is visiting HK next week… you must bring her to next week’s run to keep up your rating!!… (and yes she is a young babe too!) Hopeless - produced one of his rare smiles 😄at the checkout to the checkout lady - LIT > Hopeless… that’s cause there was Carlsberg in the shopping trolley!!🤭 And then - the legendary Skittles cake 🎂was presented to the ‘delight / hilarity ‘ of all !.. with Hopeless giving the explanation of when yours truly Indy first made it to celebrate Bubbledock’s 70th birthday… BD thinking they were stale smarties!!😂. Thanks Hopeless for a fab waterfront scenic run that was enjoyed by all!!… even those who got lost !!😠 And to sing the most beloved LSW hash song… the top LSW and 3rd top world hasher himself !! Hopeless !!
