St Patrick's Day, Peng Chau Hare - Hopeless Hashers - Chris P, Lost In Space, Dean C, Gobi Lo, Indyanus, Back to the Future, Shake My Shack, Lindsay E, Hopeless, Mike C, Clean My Bush, Ivana Nucock, HellBoy, Freebie, Any Fanny'll Do, Cute Boar Butt Write-up - Lost in Space Celebrating post St. Patricks Day in true style LSW was off for a twilight “Paddy’s Day” run on the exotic Peng Chau island hared by our ever prolific hare Hopeless. With an early kind of far away hash it would seem to make for a small pack but I was rather impressed with the turn out. We had pleasant mix of oldies, newbies and visitors followed by a couple of late comers. So off we left form the pagoda for our trek around the island. I was able to chat with some hashers for the first few minutes before they breezed off and I had the whole island to myself. Along the waterfront , through some villages and into the interior we went as dusk turned to evening. We ran the island counter clockwise. After good conversation at the pagoda it was off for our Irish ugh Chinese dinner where drama began when head torches went missing and the investigation was begun. As I made an early diversion on a secret lesser traveled Discovery Bay ferry I am unable to report on how the investigation reached its conclusion. But I anxiously await Indy’s DD notes to learn who the culprit was. Thanks to the hare for a great run and everyone who came out early to make this a successful and enjoyable Paddy’s Day celebration!! All deemed the run to be ‘no less than awesome’… Hopeless - setting trail on Peng Chau.. the first LSW hash there for 8 years… 🤩 Hopeless - previous hare had been our much-beloved legendary Sweaty Snail Gobbler.. all raise drinks in fond remembrance… 🍸 Any Fanny’ll Do / Clean My Bush - late comers as missed the 6pm ferry…. AFWD - was cursing the hare for earlier run start at 6.30 pm.. spent time on ferry checking if LSW had rules and clauses about the start time.. 🥸😩 Clean My Bush - great trail..found hell $ on every grave visiting all of them (though usually likes to keep his distance from them..) Virgins - Chris / Mika / Dean.. welcome!! Returnee - Hell Boy Findlay - welcome back! #2 hash … has 💯 % attendance - Findlay - ‘awesome’ trail ! Really enjoyed it… Chris - superfun trail! Initially confused about going to the ‘hash’ as thought he was going with Gobi Lo for ‘a smoke’ 😂 Mika - Gobi Lo’s 12 year old niece visiting from S’pore… impressive! 👌Kept up with GL the whole way and running up hills ahead of Shake My Shack !! Hopeless - putting trail arrow in front of a wall (albeit ‘tits’ high) to confuse hashers… over they went into shiggy except yours truly who checked the circuit and found a ‘sensible path’… Hell Boy - on tiny shiggy steps down trail he had to get his 4th leg out..😂 Freebie - thought she had lost her torch saying SMS’s may be hers??.. she eventually found hers in her ‘secret place’ at the bottom of her bag…🤭 Hopeless - had left bash earlier to get re supplies of Green Carlsberg for ferry ⛴️ trip back to the bigger island of HK… Hopeless 2.0 - had indicated earlier he only wanted to drink the Blue Carlsberg 0’s 🥶after a real pint at the Old China hand… Shake My Shack - the reinvented Hopeless 2.0.. Hopeless 1.0 - ‘like a female’ 💋I changed my mind after 1 Blue Carlsberg 0.. think I will have a green one ☘️ after trail setting… Hell Boy - says drinking beer 0 is ‘like having sex in a canoe.. it’s like drinking water 🥶’ Gobi Lo - entered the 250 km Gobi Desert Race in which she finished 1st female..🏆yeh!!! as a Singaporean.. but has a HK passport?? Her reply..am a ‘gun for hire!’…😎 Chris / GL / Mika - came straight to hash after rock climbing at back of Mid-Levels 💪💪💪 Chris - will be coming back to the hash - going for 💯 % attendance 👌 Hopeless stats Shake My Shack - Looking forward to your 200th hare run!! Findlay - you can give up your day / night job so you can get to over 1200 LSW runs… 💪 All those not wearing green - AFWD / Findlay Hopeless - thanks for a really awesome St Paddy’s Day run / bash and ferry ⛴️ trip!!
